The republican deportation headquarters occupied the Grand Marina cinema on Mere Boulevard.
The republican deportation headquarters occupied the Grand Marina cinema on Mere Boulevard. The organisers gathered there on the night of 13 June 1941, led by NKVD chief Boriss Kumm. The cinema was destroyed during the war; the Officers' House was later built on its site.
