The Free Hospital

The predecessor of the hospital campus on Ravi Street was Tallinn’s Free Hospital.

The Free Hospital was founded to treat poorer patients and later developed into the provincial hospital and a predecessor of Tallinn Central Hospital. The Ravi 18 campus contains buildings from several periods, so the marker represents the historic hospital grounds.
